How Big is Katelyn?

We are at 38 weeks! Only 14 days more to go!

Our Baby has grown to the size of a Watermelon this week!

She’s about 21 inches long  and weighs about 6 pounds. (2/12/08)

How big is Megan?

Here’s a picture Brad took a couple of days ago of a side shot. Katelyn is getting bigger and I can feel her moving around all the time…I can’t tell if she’s head down yet or if she’s still breech. Her little feet like to push out on my side and ribs all day long!

It’s a Girl!

We had our second ultrasound today and we found out we are going to have a little baby girl! We are so excited and nervous! It was so awesome to see her on the monitor.  The nurse and the doctor both said that she is developing right on schedule and looks healthy and great! It was such a relief to see her little body all perfectly formed. Our ultrasound technician was amazing, she was so nice and explained everything to us so we could understand. Brad was able to video the whole ultrasound (see below for the movie clip). The images are posted below the video.   We are so excited and can’t wait to meet our new little girl. She’ll be a daddy’s girl for sure! (10/8/08)

Ultrasound Pictures – Second Ultrasound

Our Baby Girl! October 8, 2008

You can see her little foot pushing up on my uterus. Her knee is to her chin! Her little profile is so adorable. We were so surprised to find out that she’s a girl! It was a welcome surprise and we are so excited to meet her!

This is by far my most favorite picture. I love this one of her little face. It was so wonderful to see her. I love peeking! She is so beautiful!

This is the “It’s a Girl” shot. The arrow is pointing to her little girl parts. I believe the nurse said this is the view of changing her diaper. Her legs are raised and pointed to the right, with her little bum in the bottom right hand corner.

Here’s another amazing view of her perfect body. Her little legs and feet were just kicking up and down. It was so amazing to see her moving around. I loved the 4D ultrasound! The regular ultrasound is neat because you can see all the body parts, but this ultrasound was awesome because we could actually see her looking like a little baby!

This is just another cute profile picture. Her legs are still up in her face. You can kind of see her spine at the bottom of the ultrasound.  You can also kind of see her heart. She’s so cute and perfect! (I think I’m a little partial! )

The nurse was trying to get a picture of her face and legs in the same shot, but Katelyn wasn’t cooperating. She just wanted to show us that she likes to move and mom was squishing her!

Her ankles are crossed in this picture…our little lady! It is so neat to look at her first ultrasound pictures (below) and see how big she has grown in just a few short weeks! We  had her first ultrasound when I was just under 12 weeks along and now I’m 20 weeks! that’s only two months but she has grown so much! I think she’s beautiful and perfect and we can’t wait to meet her!

Tomorrow we will find out the gender of the baby… come back and watch a video or look at a picture of the ultrasound to see if you can guess the sex of the baby! (10/07/08)

First Ultrasound

We just recently went to the doctor and got these ultrasound pictures. It was really cool to see the baby moving around on the ultrasound monitor. I wish I had taken a video with my phone. Next time I for sure will! We should find out what it is in October. (8/11/08)
